I just took a trip to Grand Cayman with four friends and we all had such a good experience with the Southwest Airlines Office in George Town. We were thinking of checking in early at the airport, so we visited the office and inquired about our seat numbers and if they could be seated together closer on the flight. The employees were great. Not only did they rearrange everything so that we could sit in the same row, but they also assisted one of my friends in adding a checked bag at the last minute without any surprise fees. They even printed out all of our boarding passes and double-checked that our TSA information was inputted correctly. It's always a bit disorganized to travel in a group, especially when everyone's itinerary is just a little different or has specific needs. But the Southwest crew managed it all with such graciousness and courtesy. They respected us and even added a little humor to help calm our anxieties. It was more like talking to knowledgeable travel friends than a formal airline exchange. By the time we departed from the office, we were all in high spirits and actually eagerly anticipating the flight. Everything ran smoothly the next day, much to our relief, thanks to their complete assistance. I would not think twice about flying with Southwest again—particularly after such service. If you are visiting George Town with friends, this office is an excellent place to drop by. They will look after you like professionals!
